Rutger Hauer Dead - 'Blade Runner' Actor Passes Away at 75

Rutger Hauer has sadly passed away at the age of 75.

The Blade Runner actor died on Friday (July 19th) at his home in the Netherlands.

Rutger battled a short illness before his passing, according to Variety.

He was most well known for portraying Roy Batty in Blade Runner, opposite Harrison Ford.

Rutger went on to appear in many other projects, recently including Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins, Sin City and HBO series True Blood.
