Alicia Vikander & Justin Chon Starrer 'Blue Bayou' Gets Summer Release Date

Another one of Alicia Vikander‘s films has gotten a release date.

The 32-year-old actress stars in Blue Bayou from director and co-star Justin Chon, and Focus Features just announced that the movie will be out on June 25, 2021, via THR.

The drama is centered on an American family fighting for their future as the father faces deportation.

Justin plays Antonio LeBlanc, a Korean adoptee raised in a small town in the Louisiana bayou who is married to the love of his life, Kathy (Vikander), and stepfather to their daughter.

Struggling to make a better life for his family, he must confront the ghosts of his past when he discovers that he could be deported from the only country he has ever called home.

Mark O’Brien, Linh Dan Pham and Emory Cohen also star in the film.
