'Election' Actress Jessica Campbell Dies at 38

Jessica Campbell, a former actress who is best known for portraying Tammy Metzler in the 1999 film Election alongside Reese Witherspoon, passed away at the young age of 38 on December 29.

The death was unexpected and her cousin Sarah Wessling spoke to TMZ about the tragic circumstances.

The day of her death, Jessica, a naturopathic doctor, visited with her mother and aunt after work seeing patients. She had been feeling congested, but did not suspect Coronavirus. Jessica went to the bathroom and never came out. When her aunt when to check on her, she could not be revived.

The family is waiting on an autopsy form the Multnomah County Medical Examiner’s office in Oregon.

Jessica also worked on Freaks & Geeks and her last IMDb credit is from 2002. Our thoughts are with Jessica‘s loved ones during this difficult time.
