Dustin Diamond Reveals He Has Stage 4 Small Cell Carcinoma

Saved By the Bell‘s Dustin Diamond has stage 4 small cell carcinoma, which is commonly referred to as advanced lung cancer, TMZ reports.

The publication reports that Dustin, 44, completed his first round of chemo and his team has revealed he is still in the hospital. The cancer originated elsewhere in his body but ended up metastasizing to his lungs.

“His team says he will also begin physical therapy, and adds that Dustin is keeping a positive outlook,” TMZ also reports.

Dustin was hospitalized earlier in the month and confirmed his cancer diagnosis last week. He was experiencing pain all over his body at the time of his initial hospitalization.
