Benedict Cumberbatch is Recruited by Spies in 'The Courier' Trailer - Watch Now!

The trailer for Benedict Cumberbatch‘s new movie has been released!

The 44-year-old Oscar-nominated actor stars in the upcoming movie The Courier where he is recruited by spies amid the Cold War. Rachel Brosnahan also stars in the movie as a CIA operative.

Here’s the synopsis: The Courier is a true-life spy thriller, the story of an unassuming British businessman Greville Wynne (Cumberbatch) recruited into one of the greatest international conflicts in history. At the behest of the UK’s MI-6 and a CIA operative (Brosnahan), he forms a covert, dangerous partnership with Soviet officer Oleg Penkovsky (Merab Ninidze) in an effort to provide crucial intelligence needed to prevent a nuclear confrontation and defuse the Cuban Missile Crisis.
