Liam Payne Will Star In Short Film Based On His AA Experiences

Liam Payne has revealed some exciting news – he’ll be starring in a short film!

The 27-year-old singer shared the news on a podcast following his breakup with girlfriend Maya Henry.

In his interview with the “Diary of a CEO” podcast, Liam opened up about his meeting with Russell Brand during Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, and how the experiences there are the basis for a short comedy film he’s starring in.

“I am not going to give the script… and I’ve not spoken to Russ about it yet. But I am one of the characters,” he said. “I’m excited about the film. I showed it to one of my friends and she laughed a lot.”

Liam added, recalling the meetings, that he “had a thing with drink, and it was a guy called Chip Somers who got me sober. I was sober for about a year and visited Russell Brand. We went down to meetings together.”
