Jessica, who is the middle child of Bruce and wife Patti Scialfa, will compete alongside Kent Farrington, Laura Kraut and McLain Ward on the team.
She’ll be riding her 12-year-old stallion, Don Juan Van de Donkhoeve, for the upcoming summer games, that were postponed last year due to the pandemic.
Jessica was an alternate rider for the 2012 team for the London games, and did not make the team for the 2016 games in Rio de Janeiro.
She began riding horses when she was four at the family’s farm in Colt’s Neck, New Jersey.
Now, Jessica is ranked No. 3 on the U.S. rider list and No. 27 in the world.
