'Clifford The Big Red Dog' Movie Pulled From Paramount Release Schedule

Paramount has decided to pull Clifford The Big Red Dog from the release schedule.

The flick centers on Emily Elizabeth, a middle-schooler who meets a magical animal rescuer who gifts her a little, red puppy. She never anticipated to wake up to find a giant 10-foot hound in her small New York City apartment.

Deadline reports that the movie was pulled from the release schedule “for a more family-friendly release date”.

The movie was set for a September 17 release date, and the site adds that the movie can still debut during the 2021 Toronto Film Festival, because the Canadian rights are held by eOne.

However, it doesn’t seem there will be a big premiere.

The movie stars Darby Camp, John Cleese, Sienna Guillory, Jack Whitehall and Tony Hale.
