“I was to go to coffee with you, and then straight after, at 6 o’clock, I was meant to get vaccinated,” Thomas shared in his new Variety interview, which he had to do over Zoom. “We booked it. And then I got COVID.”

Thomas added that the symptoms were “mild,” but he briefly lost his sense of smell and taste.

He also added that his busy schedule with filming Gossip Girl since October has delayed him from getting the vaccine.
