Drake Seemingly Reveals Release Date for 'Certified Lover Boy' Album

On Friday (August 27), the 34-year-old entertainer interrupted an ESPN SportsCenter morning broadcast, where he seemingly revealed the release date for his upcoming album, Certified Lover Boy.

SportsCenter started off with its normal introduction of sports highlights before it was interrupted with glitchy clips and muffled vocals. You can see what happened here.

It then ended with a cardboard sign that read, “CLB September 3rd.”

Shortly after the “interruption,” SportsCenter took to Twitter to address it.

“We want to apologize for any interruptions viewers might have experienced during SportsCenter this morning. We had some technical difficulties that have since been resolved,” the ESPN show tweeted.

As of right now, Drake hasn’t officially announced the release date for Certified Lover Boy, but he did say a few months ago that the album will be released by the end of the summer.
