Nene Leakes Says Husband Gregg is 'Transitioning to the Other Side' in Heartbreaking Cancer Update

Nene Leakes is sharing a heartbreaking update amid her husband Gregg‘s cancer update.

The 53-year-old former Real Housewives of Atlanta star was recently at her The Linnethia lounge in Atlanta when she got called out as “rude” for not wishing a patron a happy birthday.

After getting called out, Nene addressed the patrons to share an devastating update on her husband’s cancer battle.

“My husband is transitioning to the other side,” Nene said, in footage obtained by It’s OnSite.

“You don’t know what we’re dealing with right now. We walked in this lounge because we had to walk in this lounge because this is our business,” Nene continued. “So, when people approach and say, ‘you’re rude because you don’t want to say happy birthday,’ my husband is at home dying. I don’t want to say ‘happy birthday,’ okay?”

Back in June, Nene revealed to fans that Gregg‘s colon cancer had returned. He was previously diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2018.
