Kristen Stewart Was So Nervous To Play Princess Diana That This Happened
Kristen Stewart walks ahead of girlfriend Dylan Meyer while leaving a local Fedex office in Los Angeles on Wednesday (October 13).
The 31-year-old actress wore her hair up in a high ponytail and wore a cute white top and matching white shorts for the outing.
Kristen has been opening up more about her upcoming role as Princess Diana in Spencer, and recently revealed to BBC News that the role was physically taxing on her.
“I couldn’t open my mouth for two weeks before we started shooting…I had TMJ [temporomandibular joint dysfunction] to the point where I was like, completely locked up,” Kristen revealed. “I was like, ‘Huh, I guess I’m really nervous’ – I was really tripping out until we started.”
She then opened up about how she alleviated the pain – by diving deep into preparation, which included binge watching Emma Corrin as the late Princess on The Crown.
“”‹”‹I read everything, I wanted every photo… watched all the interviews that I could get my hands on. I watched The Crown, I watched every iteration of interpretation. I just tried to absorb her in an emotional and general way, and then trust the process, and expect her to show up. I think to do her justice is to allow her to be impulsive. Anything I watched her in, whether it was an interview, or even in a still photograph, it always feels unpredictable. Like you don’t know what’s going to happen.”
