Peter Weber Reacts to Hannah Brown's Claim That They Hooked Up

Peter Weber is addressing Hannah Brown‘s claim that the two of them hooked up while his season of The Bachelor was airing.

In a recent interview and an excerpt from her upcoming book, Hannah, 27, said that she and Peter, 30, reconnected at a party and then hooked up shortly after he wrapped filming production on his season of the ABC dating competition series.

“The chemistry just wasn’t there. It just sucked,” Hannah shared. “And then, I found out he had another girl [runner-up Madison Prewett] on his mind. It was all so bizarre.”

After her claims made headlines, Peter appeared on a podcast to tell his side of the story.

While appearing on Bachelors in the City, Peter confirmed that he and Hannah did go to bed together, and that Bachelor producers initially asked him not to go to the party, since his season was still airing.

“We spent the night with each other, and that was it,” Peter said on the podcast, Us Weekly reports. “That was the last time that I saw her physically.”

“I agree with what she said,” Peter continued, before acknowledging that their spark was gone. “It wasn’t the same as I think we had originally felt. But, nonetheless, it was great to talk and just have someone that kind of understood where I was coming from.”

Also in her memoir, Hannah says that this fellow Bachelor Nation star “rejected” her.
