Ben Affleck & Ana de Armas' Movie 'Deep Water' Has Been Pulled from Release Schedule

The upcoming movie Deep Water, starring former real-life couple Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas, has been pulled from the release schedule.

20th Century Studios and Disney had previously planned on releasing the movie in theaters on January 14, 2022, but now it remains undated.

The movie is directed by Adrian Lyne, the director of such films as Fatal Attraction and Indecent Proposal. It marks the director’s first film in almost two decades.

Deadline reports that Disney is not providing a reason for the date change.

Deep Water stars Affleck and de Armas “as Vic and Melinda Van Allen, a married couple whose mind games with each other take a twisted turn when people around them start turning up dead. The couple staves off divorce in a loveless marriage by allowing each to take lovers, but it becomes messy as Highsmith exposed the surface façade of American suburban life.”

The movie began production in November 2019 and Ben and Ana‘s relationship was revealed after filming had wrapped. They split by the summer of 2020 and are both dating other people now.
