Tyler Perry Doing 'Absolutely Fine' After Being Involved in Scary Car Accident

Tyler Perry was involved in a very scary car accident.

A source close to the 52-year-old director/producer shared an update on how he’s doing after the accident on Wednesday night (December 15) in Los Angeles.

“Tyler is absolutely fine, as is the other driver,” a source close to Tyler shared with People.

The source then went on to share details that led up to the event, which left Tyler‘s Bentley SUV and the other car badly damaged.

“The other driver cut across three lanes of traffic, right across Tyler‘s path, and unfortunately his car hit her driver’s side,” the source explained.

The crash occurred shortly after Tyler left an airport in Burbank, Calif, according to TMZ.

It was also reported that neither Tyler or the other driver sustained any serious injuries and that the accident wasn’t serious enough for a police report to be filed.
