'Saturday Night Live' to Re-Air Episode with Betty White as Host in Honor of Her Death

Saturday Night Live is remembering Betty White.

The NBC sketch comedy series announced that they are re-airing the episode the 99-year-old actress hosted back in 2010 on Saturday night (January 1) in honor of her death.

“Rest in Peace, Betty White. Watch Betty’s episode of SNL tonight on NBC,” SNL tweeted on Saturday afternoon.

Betty hosted SNL for the first and only time back on May 8, 2010. Jay-Z served as the musical guest on her episode.

For her appearance on the show, Betty won the Emmy award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series.

Shortly after Betty‘s death was announced, her agent revealed some details about her passing.

The episode of Saturday Night Live with Betty White as host will air at 11:30pm ET on Saturday (January 1) on NBC.
