Andrew Scott & Dakota Fanning Sneak Around With Suitcases On 'Ripley' Set

Dakota Fanning makes a funny face while getting ready to shoot new scenes for Ripley in Venice, Italy, on Friday afternoon (February 11).

The 27-year-old actress, who carried a plaid suitcase with her in some scenes, was joined by Andrew Scott on the set, who was seen off to the side, keeping warm in a puffy coat.

Later on in the day, Andrew was spotted catching a ferry with a briefcase in hand while filming for the upcoming series.

Just the night before, Dakota was seen on a gondola ride with Andrew‘s body double.

Based on Patricia Highsmith’s quintet of Tom Ripley novels, the drama will follow Tom Ripley, a grifter who is hired by a wealthy businessman to travel to Italy and convince his son to return home.

Dakota plays Marge Sherwood, an American living in Italy who suspects that Tom’s affability hides darker motives, while Andrew stars in the title role.
