Paramount+ Orders More 'Yellowstone' Spinoff '1883' Episodes & Orders New Prequel '1932'

The Yellowstone franchise is getting bigger!

Paramount+ announced that it’s first spinoff, 1883, will be back for even more episodes.

If you don’t know, the series follows the Dutton family as they embark on a journey west through the Great Plains toward the last bastion of untamed America.

1883 stars Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, Billy Bob Thornton, Isabel May, LaMonica Garrett, and more.

In addition to the season renewal of 1883, Paramount+ also revealed that another prequel series is coming, titled 1932.

The show will center on a brand new generation of Duttons “during the time of western expansion, Prohibition and the Great Depression,” according to Variety.

Just last week, Yellowstone itself was confirmed to be back for a fifth season, and was just nominated for its first major award.
