There's a Huge Controversy Over Prince William & His Statement About Ukraine

Prince William is being quoted as having said two very different things with regard to the war in Ukraine right now, and it has caused a massive controversy.

It all started when a reporter inside a recent event (via the Associated Press), quoted the Prince as having said that the UK people were “more used to seeing conflict in Africa and Asia…It’s very alien to see this in Europe. We are all behind you.”

Now, that reporter is actually retracting what he said.

In a new video that has surfaced, Prince William‘s alleged quote actually was: “Everyone is horrified by what they are seeing. It’s really horrifying. The news every day, it’s just, it’s almost unfathomable. For our generation, it’s very alien to see this in Europe. We’re all right behind you. We’re thinking about you. We feel so useless.”

The reporter who falsely reported what he said, Richard Palmer, tweeted, “In the chaos, a remark he made was misheard, starting a social media storm. Apologies for reporting that online.”
