DJ Khaled Interrupts Opening of Oscars 2022

DJ Khaled has something to say.

The 46-year-old musician interrupted the opening of the ceremony at the 2022 Academy Awards on Sunday (March 27) at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

Co-hosts Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes and Regina Hall all took the stage together at the start of the ceremony.

“Hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up,” he said, interrupting the show.

“Let me introduce the three queens, right. Let me introduce this the right way. I’m talking about actresses, comedians, moguls, bosses,” he said, complimenting the stars and their “amazing outfits.”

“They didn’t believe in us. The Oscars did. They said, ‘Yo, Will Smith, Bad Boys, what are we doing?’ You know we the best right? You know how we do it. Let’s go! Make some noise, c’mon.”
