Harry Styles was set to join Anya Taylor-Joy in a remake of the classic vampire movie Nosferatu, The Lighthouse director Robert Eggers revealed to the New Yorker.

In a profile piece published Monday (March 28), it was revealed that Robert Eggers was supposed to be in Prague, and scheduled to begin preparing a remake of F. W. Murnau’s 1922 silent vampire film.
The new version “featured Taylor-Joy, who also starred in The Witch, and Harry Styles. But, at the last minute, Styles pulled out, citing scheduling concerns.”
Last summer, it was reported that Anya Taylor-Joy would be teaming up with the director for a remake of the classic film, which followed the vampire Count Orlok of Transylvania, who wants to buy a house in Germany and becomes enamored of the real-estate agent’s wife.
