Judd Apatow Slams Will Smith in Since-Deleted Tweet About Oscars Fight

Judd Apatow was not a fan of Will Smith‘s Oscars moment and he expressed his thoughts in a tweet that has since been deleted.
The 54-year-old Knocked Up director took to Twitter on Sunday night (March 27) and responded to a fan who said they understood why Will reacted to Chris Rock‘s joke that way.
In case you missed it, Chris made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith‘s bald head and she was clearly upset, so Will got on stage and slapped the comedian in the face.
“Jada suffers of alopecia. I’m not saying it’s right to hit people, but I understand Will‘s reaction,” the fan wrote to Judd.

The filmmaker replied in a since-deleted tweet, “He could have killed him. That’s pure out of control rage and violence. They’ve heard a million jokes about them in the last three decades. They are not freshman in the world of Hollywood and comedy. He lost his mind.”
All of Judd‘s tweets on the moment have disappeared from his timeline.
One of Will‘s celeb friends is defending the moment and saying his actions were a “beautiful thing.”
The Academy has released a statement in response to the attack and even the LAPD has spoken out to give an update on possible charges against Will.
