Ireland Baldwin Responds to Troll Asking If She Works, Reveals If She Gets An Allowance

Ireland Baldwin is speaking out in response to a troll asking if she works and she also responded to someone asking if she receives an allowance from her famous parents.

The 26-year-old former model and daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger took to her TikTok account this week to respond to fan questions.

“Do you work?” one commenter said.

“I’m going to address this comment, which is my favorite comment that I get frequently,” Ireland said. “I know you could be asking this genuinely… but I know you’re not.”

“I am a business owner. I just started a business with my boyfriend. We are opening up a café, wine bar and a boutique. And we are starting a brand together,” Ireland said. “That is one part of what I do. Another big part of my life is I’m a foster rescue dog mom. I work in adoption. I work with a lot of fosters and a lot of rescues. I’m in the works and in the process of starting my own rescue and have been for a while now.”

“The biggest piece of the puzzle is I’m a screenwriter,” Ireland said, adding that she’s “done nothing yet.”

“I just took this career path. I was modeling for most of my younger chunk of my life thus far. I took a career path in screenwriting right before the pandemic hit. I started a production company with my best friend. We pitch TV shows and we write movie scripts, we work on commercial stuff,” she said. “Things are just kind of getting started for us. Everyone has to start somewhere.”

One person asked Ireland if she gets a monthly allowance from her parents and she admitted that they did help her out at one point in her life, but she doesn’t not get an allowance at this age.
