Matthew McConaughey‘s movie is not moving forward.

Skydance is no longer moving forward with Dallas Sting, a soccer project set to be directed by Kari Skogland, THR reported on Wednesday (September 14).

The news comes just six weeks from when the nearly fully cast drama was set to begin production.

The movie was set in 1984, and was to tell the true story of a Dallas girls soccer team that traveled to China and, against the odds, defeated some of the best women’s teams in the world.
