Margot Robbie Reveals Role That Confirmed To Her She Was a 'Good Actor'

Margot Robbie opened up about the moment she realized she excelled at her craft.

The 32-year-old Barbie actor was recently honored with a BAFTA’s A Life in Pictures tribute.

While delivering remarks at the event, she shared that one of her roles helped her realize that she was a “good actor” and gave her the confidence to reach out to other stars.

Margot explained that 2017′s I, Tonya – in which she played figure skater Tonya Harding – was a major moment for her.

“I, Tonya was the first time I watched a movie and went, ‘OK, I’m a good actor’,” she said, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

That knowledge gave her the confidence to feel “ready to reach out to my idols.” One such idol was Quentin Tarantino, who she collaborated with on Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

She described the opportunity as a “bucket list thing for me.”

Margot also shed light on a major scene from another of her movies that was not originally in the script and explained why she took on a role in Bombshell.
