Britney Spears addressed why she has been taking breaks from Instagram.

If you missed it, the 41-year-old “Clumsy” pop icon deactivated her account on the social media platform twice in the last month or so. Most recently, she was offline for three days this week.

Her absence raised concerns amongst fans, which husband Sam Asghari addressed in a candid note.

However, Britney shared an explanation for her breaks, and it’s likely not what you think.

In a since-deleted post, the princess of pop explained that she doesn’t mean to leave the social media platform and keeps doing so by accident.

“I know my Instagram has been down a few times but honestly I did the last two times myself !!! Oops … I accidentally pressed the wrong button … d-mn that stupid button,” she wrote, according to ET Canada.
