Rapper Lil Keed’s Cause of Death Confirmed

Rapper Lil Keed‘s cause of death has been confirmed seven months after his death.
According to Los Angeles County Medical Examiner/Coroner’s Office, the 24-year-old rapper passed away from natural causes due to eosinophilia, a higher than normal level of eosinophils. Eosinophils are a type of disease-fighting white blood cell.
However, the coroner added in the report that it’s unclear what caused the condition.

Born in Atlanta, Raqhid Jevon Render, known professionally as Lil Keed was signed to YSL Records, a record label founded in 2016 by rapper Young Thug.
On May 13 around 7:30 p.m. the rapper said he needed to go to the hospital, per the coroner’s report.
“He had been sick in bed for four days with complaints of stomach and back pains,” the report said obtained by People. “His brother noted that the decedent’s eyes were jaundiced and drove him to the hospital in a private vehicle.”
When he was in a Georgia hospital last year complaining of stomach pain, “he left against medical advice and did not seek follow-up care,” said the coroner. It was also noted that he frequently drank alcohol and smoked a vape pen.
