The Puppy Bowl is back!
The adorable event is returning for its 19th year ahead of 2023 Super Bowl on Sunday, February 12, and will feature 122 rescue puppies, including 11 puppies with special needs, from 67 shelters playing their own version of football

Pre-game event will officially start at 1pm Et with a rundown of the Puppy Bowl draft, including interviews with the coaches and profiles on all of the puppy players.
For the main event, the puppies will be divided into Team Ruff and Team Fluff and will compete to win the “Lombarky” trophy. Other prizes to win include the MVP (Most Valuable Puppy) award and one of the Underdog Awards.
The Kitten Halftime Show this year will feature kitties from three different shelters.
Dan Schachner will be returning to referee the game for his 12th year.
Puppy Bowl XIX will air on Sunday, February 12 at 2pm ET/11 a.m. PT on Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, and TBS. Fans can also start streaming the three-hour special at the same time on discovery+ and HBO Max.
