Sam Heughan & Priyanka Chopra Actually Never Filmed With Celine Dion For 'Love Again'

Sam Heughan and Priyanka Chopra Jonas are opening up about how they pulled off their scenes with Celine Dion, despite never filming with her for Love Again.

In the movie, Celine stars as herself, as the subject of journalist Rob Burns’ (Heughan) new profile of her. While writing the piece, Rob becomes captivated by the messages he’s been receiving from Mira (Chopra Jonas) on his phone.

In a new interview, Sam opened up about how they pulled off the scene with Celine.

While chatting with ET Canada, Sam revealed that they had to film apart all because fo the COVID-19 pandemic.

“There were a lot of issues and most of it was due to COVID, really. We couldn’t obviously fly people in and out. We were in a bubble in the U.K. It was the height of one of several lockdowns,” he explained. “So, it’s kind of crazy that even this movie came together, that we got to make it. We overcame many obstacles.”

He then added he was aware that “Celine has her own, you know, obstacles to overcome with her health, but we just wish her all the best.”

“She’s such an integral part of the movie,” Sam said. “Her music is so uplifting. It really is a celebration of her. So we we sort of we say we just love we love you, Celine.”
