Matty Healy Alludes to Taylor Swift Split During Latest The 1975 Show

Matty Healy appears to be addressing his split from Taylor Swift.

On Monday (June 5), it was revealed that the 33-year-old “Lover” singer and the 34-year-old The 1975 split up after just over one month of seeing each other.

Shortly after the split was reported, The 1975 hit the stage for another show and Matty shared some comments seemingly about his split from Taylor.

During the show, Matty took a moment to share his appreciation for all of the fans supporting him after seeing several signs in the crowd expressing their love for him.

“My friend had some very, very beautiful signs that said, ‘You are loved,’” Matty said gesturing to a fan in the crowd, as seen in a video shared on Twitter. “That was very, very kind of you.”

“I’m sure that’s alluding to…” Matty said, before stopping himself.

“As you’re aware, I’m not very online at the moment and I’m sure people have just been calling me a c–t relentlessly,” Matty continued.

“I’ve not been online, but what I have been with is my boys,” Matty added. “And honestly, as much as I appreciate that, it’s so beautiful, and I thank you. But I don’t need it, because I’ve got them.”
