Martha Stewart Called Out By Fans For 'Capturing' An Iceberg For Cruise Cocktails

Fans are not happy with Martha Stewart right now.

The 82-year-old lifestyle guru shared an image from her cruise getaway to Greenland, where she showed off her cocktail while sitting at the bar on the ship.

“End of the first zodiac cruise from @swanhelleniccruises into a very beautiful fjord on the east coast of Greenland,” she captioned the post, before adding that they “actually captured a small iceberg for our cocktails tonight.”

While the image itself isn’t what upset fans, it was what she confessed to in the caption, and then seeing the image of a small chunk of the iceberg on a bar cart in the carousel.

Many fans took to the comments of her post, calling Martha out for admitting that the ship “captured” an iceberg just to cool drinks, and then lectured her on climate change.

“‘If you can’t find fresh icebergs for your cocktails store bought is fine,’” one follower wrote, as if providing an excuse in conversation, while another wrote, “Martha the ice caps are melting don’t put them in your drink.”

Another follower then called the post entirely “tone deaf.”

“I generally love Martha and the excesses of her life because she’s about beautiful gardens, homes, and food, but wealthy white people drinking their iceberg cocktails while the planet is in flames is a bit tone deaf,” they wrote in the comments.

Martha was called out by many more of them for her thoughts about remote workers.
