Selena Gomez is revealing exactly how she broke her hand, which she only revealed just a few days ago.

The 31-year-old entertainer was asked about the accident while chatting with Ellen K on The Ellen K Morning Show. If you don’t know, Selena said in an Instagram comment earlier this week that she had broken her hand and had surgery, but didn’t explain the specifics.

Selena said, “I wish I had like a really cool story that I saved someone’s life or something. But I was in a long dress, a summer dress, and I was walking from my car to my house and tripped.”

The host then remarked that thankfully it wasn’t her teeth.

She shared, “I guess there is a silver lining. But this is not fun, this is not fun.”
