The outlet noted that Danny was present for his sentencing, which took place on Thursday (September 7). However, he did speak out. Judge Charlaine Olmedo addressed him while deciding on his sentence.

Mr. Masterson, you are not the victim here,” she said. “Your actions 20 years ago took away another person’s voice and choice. Your actions 20 years ago were criminal, and that is why you are here.”

He received support from wife Bijou Phillips, sister Alanna Masterson and brothers Will and Jordan Masterson, all of whom were in the courthouse. A source previously revealed how Bijou reacted to her husband’s conviction.

Danny‘s conviction came after a trial in 2022 ended in mistrial.

Another celebrity spoke out after Danny was convicted earlier this year.
