Jamie Lynn Spears Joins 'DWTS' Season 32, Says She's Donating Her Full Salary

Jamie Lynn Spears is the latest star to join the cast of Dancing With the Stars for the upcoming 32nd season!

The 32-year-old actress and younger sister of Britney Spears just announced that she will be paired with pro Alan Bersten for the upcoming season, which marks the show’s return to ABC.

Jamie Lynn made the announcement on Good Morning America on Tuesday morning (September 12) ahead of the full cast reveal this week. We already know some other confirmed cast members!

“I don’t know if one can ever be 100% ready to take on something this big; I didn’t realize what a commitment it is, but it definitely is. I’m ready to challenge myself,” she said.

While announcing the news, Jamie Lynn revealed she will be donating her full salary.

“While everybody else in my community is on strike, I have this unique opportunity where I was offered a chance to work when my community cannot work. So I figured I’ll do this and I will donate my weekly salary… to just give back to them at a time where they can’t give back to themselves,” she said.

Jamie Lynn will donate the earnings to support people affected by the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes.

There has been a schedule change for the upcoming season of DWTS.
