Brian Austin Green Addresses 'Difficult' Co-Parenting With Vanessa Marcil, Claims She Kept Their Son From Him During Health Struggles

Brian Austin Green is getting candid about his co-parenting relationship with Vanessa Marcil.

If you’re unaware, the two actors share a 21-year-old son, Kassius.

In a new interview, Brian opened up about the difficult situation and relationship between him and Vanessa, and reveals new claims that she once kept Kassius from him during a difficult time in his life.

It was during an episode of his Old-ish podcast that Brian talked about Vanessa, and his current partner, Sharna Burgess, revealed a bit more insight.

Sharna said that due to Brian suffering from vertigo for years, he was unable to see his son, and claims that Vanessa purposely kept Kassius from him.

“Those years that he wasn’t able to go see Kassius, Vanessa made no effort to make sure Brian got time with him,” she shared. “Instead, she painted him as an absent father who chose not to be around for him. And I’m sure that information was fed to Kass, and I can’t imagine how damaging that was for him.”

Brian chimed in then, saying that “to find out after the fact that at the point when I started getting better, that she then was painting it that I had abandoned Kass during that time, when the reality was I was dealing with such brain fog in what I was going through.”

He was referencing the many times that Vanessa has claimed that she raised Kassius alone.

“It would’ve meant so much if Vanessa had decided ‘Hey, I’m going to make sure while you’re going through this that your son can still get to your house and see you,’” he added. “That would’ve just made an incredible difference in the situation. But that’s not what went down, that’s not how it happened.”

Brian is also dad to three sons – Noah, 10, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 7 – with ex Megan Fox, and has a 1-year-old son, Zane, with Sharna.
