5 K-Pop Groups Have Disbanded in 2024 So Far

MIRAE – DISBANDED IN JULY

The 7-member boy band will be disbanding in July, DSP Media confirmed in a statement.

“First of all, we sincerely thank all the fans who have loved and supported MIRAE. We would like to officially announce our position regarding MIRAE’s group activities. After much deliberation and discussion, DSP Media and MIRAE members Lee Jun Hyuk, Lien, Yoo Dohyun, Khael, Son Dong Pyo, Park Si Young, and Jang Yu Bin have decided to conclude their group activities,” they said, via Soompi.

“While group activities will be coming to an end, Son Dong Pyo will continue with individual activities under DSP Media. Once again, we sincerely thank you for your tremendous support for MIRAE. Please continue to show unwavering affection and warm encouragement for the members in their future endeavors.”

The group first made their debut in 2021, releasing albums like KILLA, Splash, Marvelous, Ourturn, and Boys will be Boys. Earlier in 2014, they released their Japanese debut song “RUNNING UP” before shifting focus to individual activities.
