‘Below Deck Down Under’ Season 3: Everything We Know, Including Filming Location Returning Cast & Rumored New Cast

Jason Chambers – RETURNING

Jason Chambers is set to return as Captain for season three.

In March 2024, when asked about when season three would premiere on Instagram, Jason replied to fans, “Talk is this year… no date atm. Let’s shout out and tell @belowdeckbravo how much we want this…🙌”

He confirmed with InTouch in December 2023 that he’s on board, but after season two he’s got some changes he’d like to put in place. He also shared that he’s pretty much left out of decisions, other than showing up to captain the boat.

“They leave me very much out of it. That’s the way they operate. I like that when the location’s picked, I’ll turn up to a boat, I’ll meet the crew and then I’ll get on with it,” he said. “That is a pretty big essence of the whole production. So, they do keep me at an arm’s distance, which I like. It actually brings out the challenging part of it, which I actually really enjoy.”

As for changes he would implement as captain going forward, being an advocate for no alcohol would be one.

“That would be great from a captain’s point of view because the safety aspect is still there and the more I look back on the episodes, I see them with the audience,” Jason told InTouch. “I don’t see anything until the audience does. I actually obviously will implement my own style going forward for season three. Whether that’s in tune with NBC or Bravo, I’m not sure, but I definitely will be putting my two cents in as a captain going into season ”‹3.”
