Tru Valentino as Aaron Thorsen – Exiting
The fate of Tru Valentino‘s Aaron Thorsen was up-in-the-air at the end of season six after being in a code blue at the hospital. Now it has been revealed that he’s not returning for season 7.
After Tru‘s exit was confirmed, he reportedly posted on his Instagram Story, “I will always cherish my time on The Rookie but couldn’t be more excited for what the future has in store.”
About if Tru could ever return, showrunner Alexi Hawley told Screen Rant, “Of course. Tru [Valentino] is a great actor, and he was a huge part of our show for several seasons, and so we’d love to have him back in some capacity. It just ultimately felt like, creatively, for where the show was going, that we needed to pivot a bit. But he’s still very much alive in our universe.”
