Guy Pearce Says He Was ‘Targeted’ by ‘Aggressive’ Kevin Spacey While Filming ‘L.A. Confidential’
Guy Pearce is processing past alleged interactions he had with Kevin Spacey on the set of L.A. Confidential.
In a recent episode of the “Awards Chatter” podcast with Scott Feinberg, the 57-year-old actor opened up about his experience with Spacey, who has been accused of by over a dozen men for sexual misconduct, while filming the 1997 movie.

“Even though I probably was a victim to a degree, I was certainly not a victim by any means to the extent that other people have been to sexual predators. But I did that thing that you do where you brush it off and go, ‘Ah, that’s nothing. Ah, no, that’s nothing.’ And I did that for five months,” Guy explained.
“I was scared of Kevin because he’s quite an aggressive man and quite extremely charming and brilliant at what he does — really impressive, etc. He holds a room remarkably. But I was young and susceptible, and he targeted me, no question,” he added, noting that he was 29 at the time of filming.
In a June 2024 interview with Piers Morgan, Spacey admitted to “pushing boundaries” and “being too handsy” during previous encounters.
