The Filipino pop troupe – made up of Josh, Pablo, Stell, Ken, and Justin – returns on Friday (February 28) with their new single “DAM,” marking the first release from their upcoming EP, SaW (Simula at Wakas), the final chapter in a trilogy.
Ever since their official launch in October 2018 with “Tilaluha,” the group has continued to make history for Pinoy-Pop (P-Pop) as one of the most influential
Filipino acts, including a historic nomination as the first Filipino act at the Billboard Music Awards in 2021. They’re also the first Filipino pop group to receive approval for entry into the GRAMMY Awards.
Equipped with their loyal global fanbase, A’TIN, who won the 2024 Billboard Fan Army Face-Off for the second year in a row, they’ve continued their global takeover and are bound to reach new heights in 2025.

1. Originally, SB19 was not supposed to be a five-member group; it was supposed to be eight members. However, it ended up with four members: Josh, Pablo, Justin and Stell. Then, Ken was added later on.
2. One of the most famous dishes in the Philippines is adobo but SB19 likes sinigang more than adobo.
3. They collaborate with various artists and teams, but they’re able to shoot their own content and do their own choreography as well. Before that, they also trained themselves and built their own company, called 1Z Entertainment.
4. For the past five years the group have been together, they never had a vacation together.
5. Stell is scared of clowns. Recently, when the group saw a clown, Stell was very scared to face it.

6. Four of the members: Josh, Justin, Stell, Pablo came from the same part of the Philippines, while Ken came from Mindanao: one of the three main island groups in the Philippines.
7. Ken loves doing breakdancing stuff, but he is not a fan of heights and roller coasters. He will do a big backflip though.
8. Before debuting and releasing the single “Tilaluha,” we performed other songs like “Seasons of Love,” “Dancing Queen,” and “Waterloo” together. You would never expect a boy group like us to sing aggressively to songs from musicals.
9. SB19 trained themselves to speak Korean and other languages when they’re asked to perform songs in other languages.
10. SB19 was the first Filipino and Southeast Asian act to be nominated for Top Social Artist at the Billboard Music Awards.
