Chris Hemsworth Says He Was ‘Incredibly Excited’ to Work with Halle Berry on ‘Crime 101’

Chris Hemsworth and Halle Berry are hitting the stage in Las Vegas!

The two stars joined director Bart Layton at CinemaCon 2025 for the presentation of their new heist flick Crime 101 on Wednesday night (April 2) held at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

While plot details for the movie are currently being kept under wraps, the original short story “follows high-level jewel thefts taking place up and down the Pacific Coast that police have linked to Colombian cartels. Detective Lou Lubesnick has other ideas and he zeroes in on one perp, a thief looking for a final score.”

Keep reading to find out more…In an interview with Access, Chris shared his excitement over getting the opportunity to work with Halle.

“I was incredibly excited to work with Halle,” Chris said.

When asked if he was intimated about working with the Oscar winner, Chris responded, “Always. Yeah, of course. Oh my god, yeah, absolutely. Absolutely!”

Crime 101 – which also stars Mark Ruffalo, Barry Keoghan, Monica Barbaro, Corey Hawkins, Tate Donovan, Devon Bostick, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Nick Nolte – will be released in 2026.
