Jennifer Lopez Lands Role in Netflix Psychological-Thriller ‘The Last Mrs. Parrish’

Jennifer Lopez has landed a new role in a psychological thriller movie!

The 55-year-old actress and singer has signed on for Netflix’s adaptation of The Last Mrs. Parrish, which is based on a 2017 novel of the same name by Lynne Constantine and Valerie Constantine.

The film will tell the story of “a twisted con-artist who targets a wealthy couple — the Parrishes — as her next victims. She infiltrates the pair by befriending the wife and seducing the husband, with the master plan of becoming the next Mrs. Parrish, only to discover that the wife’s life is far more complicated than she could have imagined,” per Variety.

The nature of Jennifer‘s role is not yet known, and additional casting has not been announced. Robert Zemeckis, who has directed features such as Forrest Gump, Back to the Future, and Cast Away, will direct the film.
