‘A Different World’ Sequel Series Kicks Off Production, Full Cast Revealed – 6 OG Stars Reprise Roles, 11 Actors Join

Charnele Brown – RETURNING

Charnele Brown has been cast to reprise her role as Kim Reese, now known as Dr Kimberly Reese Boyer.

She previously starred on the original series from seasons 2-6.

Jenifer Lewis – RETURNING

Jenifer Lewis will be reprising her role as Dorothy Dandridge Davenport, who is now Professor Davenport, as opposed to Dean Davenport in the original series.

She previously portrayed the character across eight episodes in season six of the original series.
