Tom Holland Reveals the Talented Actor He’d Choose as Next Spider-Man
Tom Holland has revealed his choice for the next Spider-Man!
If you aren’t a fan of the Marvel comics, Spider-Man tends to be a younger actor as his origin story starts when he’s bitten by the famed spider while he’s still a student in high school.
Tom has previously confirmed that he’ll play the role until it no longer makes sense.
“I would love to pass the baton on, but I haven’t achieved that yet … I think the truth is that playing Spider-Man has been the joy of my life. I now kind of stand on the plinth of like, I’ll do it for as long as they’ll have me,” he previously said.
However, if he had to choose the next young star, he’d pick Adolescence’s Owen Cooper
“Owen Cooper would be awesome,” he told Esquire UK. “Obviously, he’s super-talented and he’s the talk of the town right now.”
For his role in the Netflix hit, Owen won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie, the British Academy Television Award for Best Supporting Actor, the Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor – Series, Miniseries or Television Film, and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day hits theaters on July 31.
