Role Model Confirms Dakota Johnson Relationship with One Line in His Latest Interview
Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, and Dakota Johnson have sparked dating rumors for a few months, and now, it appears as if he’s confirming that they are in a relationship!
The 36-year-old Splitsville actress and the 29-year-old “Sally, When The Wine Runs Out” singer first sparked romance rumors late last year when they were spotted looking cozy while out for dinner.
In his cover story for NYLON Guys, out now, he shared a tidbit about Dakota. If you don’t know, she’s featured in his song “Love I You” from his album Chuck Timely & the Hourglass, which will be released on August 7.
Well, while talking about the decision for her to cameo on the song, he actually said they are in a relationship, confirming the months of rumors from sightings of them together.
About the cameo, he said, “I had a lot of names to pick from for that, and then Dakota came to the studio one day, and Mason [Stoops, guitarist and producer] was like, ‘Why don’t you do it?’”
Where does the “relationship” part come in? Role Model continued, “I was like, ‘Stop! We’re not mixing work and relationships.”
He continued, “She was like, ‘I’ll do it,’ and stood right up and got in the booth and knocked it out better than we could have imagined. So I was like, OK, if she’s down — I mean, that’s an amazing cameo.”
In the same interview, Role Model explained why he skipped Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift‘s wedding.
