Taylor Swift Was Teasing ‘Patient Zero’ for Months – All the Easter Eggs You May Have Missed!
“Patient for the encore” appeared in the “Opalite” music video
The biggest clue may have been hiding in plain sight since February!
In the “Opalite” music video, a poster can be spotted with the words “PATIENT FOR THE ENCORE” written across it.
Fans actually noticed the unusual wording when the video was released, months before anyone knew about a song called “Patient Zero.”
The phrase has taken on a whole new meaning following Tuesday’s announcement, with “patient” appearing directly in the title of the new song.
However, Taylor has not confirmed that the poster was specifically intended to tease “Patient Zero.”
Interestingly, the second half of the message may connect to another recent Easter egg.
Fans found “ENCORE” hidden in Taylor’s Emmys clues
Taylor made a surprise appearance in a pre-taped Law & Order: SVU sketch during the 2026 Emmy Awards earlier this month.
At one point in the sketch, she told Mariska Hargitay, “I think what we’re gonna be looking for is hiding in plain sight.”
She then looked directly into the camera and listed a series of seemingly unrelated clues: “Saccharide. Aries. From the vineyard. North or south.”
Swifties have spent the days since attempting to decode the strange message.
Following Taylor‘s use of three zeroes on social media, fans took another look at the Emmys code and discovered that taking the third letter from the first six words can produce an anagram of “ENCORE.”
That immediately caught fans’ attention because of the “PATIENT FOR THE ENCORE” poster that had already appeared in the “Opalite” video months earlier.
Of course, Taylor has not confirmed the ENCORE interpretation or explained exactly what the word means.
