4 New ‘Avengers Endgame: Encore’ End Credits Scenes Revealed – Spoilers for ‘Doomsday’ Connections in Each Scene
1. Steve and Peggy’s extended dance scene with a Loki appearance
The first post-credits scene is an extended version of Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and Peggy Carter’s (Hayley Atwell) dance scene.
As fans may recall, the last scene of Endgame shows Steve and Peggy dancing after Steve drops the Infinity Stones off in their correct timelines, then returns to the woman he loves.
The new scene picks up with the pair dancing when there’s a knock on the door with Loki (Tom Hiddleston) on the other side. He’s wearing his Time Variance Authority (TVA) uniform, which means we’ll almost certainly see the consequences of Steve’s decision to stay with Peggy play out in Doomsday.
When Peggy asks, “Can I help you?” Loki responds, “No, but I can help you. Both of you.”
This could possibly offer an explanation of why Peggy is allowed to remain with Peggy when the TVA would typically end this arrangement. Or Loki’s visit could signal something bigger and could possibly have something to do with Doctor Doom (Robert Downey Jr.)
Regardless of what Loki’s visit entails, it at least sets up another team-up between Steve and Loki in Doomsday.
