What Did U2 Say About the Tour?

“The Greatest Show on Earth? Now that’s a throwdown. It’s a dare, to ourselves as much as anyone, to try and have the best night of anybody’s life,” they said.

“Because if people are gonna show up, we certainly are.”

The tour will feature songs from across the band’s catalog and mark its first stadium shows since 2019. It follows U2‘s 40-show U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere residency in Las Vegas.

When Does U2’s New Album Come Out?

Carnaval De Luz arrives November 13, 2026.

Produced by Jacknife Lee, the 12-song album is the band’s first full-length collection of new material in nine years.

Alongside the tour announcement, U2 released its third single from the album, “The Greatest Show on Earth.” The song was co-written with Brian Eno, and its video was directed by Anton Corbijn.
