Keith Urban Abruptly Ends Interview, Seemingly Over Personal Question About Wife Nicole Kidman (Audio)

Keith Urban seemingly dipped out of an interview over a question asked about his wife Nicole Kidman.

The 57-year-old country singer called in to the Mix 102.3 show “Hayley & Max in the Morning” to speak about his tour on Tuesday (July 1) when the incident took place.

Hosts Hayley Peterson and Max Burford then introduced him to their game, “Wheel of Truth,” where they ask the talent some personal questions.

“In our Wall of Truth, Keith, we often get put into this situation where we have to answer a very tricky question, deeply personal question. I get really uncomfortable, to be honest, asking our beautiful guests something they might be uncomfortable [answering],” Hayley said.

Then Max teed up the question: “I thought, ‘What does Keith Urban think when he sees his beautiful wife with beautiful younger men like Zac Efron having these beautiful love scenes on TV?’” Nicole and Zac co-starred in Netflix’s A Family Affair in 2024 and The Paperboy in 2012.

Then, it appeared as if Keith was no longer on the call. Max said, “What just happened here?”

“He’s disconnected from Zoom,” one of their producers then said. “I think his team hung up on us because they didn’t want us to ask that question.”

“That’s 100 per cent what’s just happened. Oh my God! I knew that would happen. We’ve upset him! He’s gone,” Hayley added.

Hayley then remarked that he doesn’t like answering private questions about his wife.

It’s not extremely uncommon for celebrities to end interview when they’re made uncomfortable.
