Revolutionary Road star Kate Winslet (in Yves Saint Laurent) proudly shows off her trophy for “Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama” at the 2009 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 11) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

During her acceptance speech, the 33-year-old British actress momentarily forgot Angelina Jolie was one of the contenders! “I’m so sorry Anne [Hathaway], Meryl [Streep], Kristin [Scott Thomas] – oh God, who’s the other one?” You can watch her acceptance speech here.

Kate also picked up a Globe for “Best Performance by an Actress In A Supporting Role in a Motion Picture” for her work in The Reader.

On the red carpet, Kate was accompanied by co-star Leonardo DiCaprio (in Giorgio Armani). Congrats, Kate!!!

The 27-year-old Single Ladies singer wore an ivory Elie Saab gown with sequined detailing. Diamond necklace and earrings by Lorraine Schwartz.

Beyonce was nominated for “Best Original Song – Motion Picture”, for “Once in a Lifetime” from the movie, Cadillac Records. “The Wrestler” from the movie, The Wrestler won the category. Music & lyrics are by Bruce Springsteen.

Slumdog Millionaire‘s Dev Patel, Freida Pinto (in Christian Lacroix), and director Danny Boyle picked up the most coveted award, “Best Motion Picture – Drama” at the 2009 Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 11) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The film was four for four at the ceremony — Boyle also picked up Best Director, Simon Beaufoy for Best Screenplay and A. R. Rahman for Best Original Score.
